A Day with the Letter "E"!

Today was an amazing day with the letter "E"! We learned so many fun things and got to do so many fun activities! We started off with circle time where we sang our "Welcome" song and took attendance.

We said the Pledge of Allegiance where we got through the ENTIRE thing! They did so good!

Zeegan was our "Special Person" today! Her favorite color is pink and her favorite foods are chicken nuggets and yogurt! Yum!

Lexi helped us read about the Mixed Up Alphabet.

Then we had a special visit from Mr. Jon, who fits people for hearing aids for a profession. So he knows all about Ears! We all got to see the inside of our own ears through a tiny camera he put in our ears and looked at on the computer! Way neat! See that shiny white spot? That is Robby's ear drum! Cool!

Oh! That tickles too!

While we were taking turns looking in our ears, we all glued beans on our Big E's and Little e's.

We also got to color a fun diagram of our ears.

After exploring our ears, we moved onto one of our other cool things that start with the letter "E"! Our Eyes! Miss Laura had made everyone fun binoculars out of TP rolls and we went on a short walk to see what we could find. We found grass, cars, and our friends!

Robby was such a trooper with his big boot!

Then it was on to snack time! It was hard to find snacks that started with the letter "E", so we had Elephants (from a circus animals pack), bananas with a cute elephant cupcake topper, and goldfish in a treat bag with big Eyes on it! Fun!

Not pictured were some of our other fun games we played exploring listening with our Ears and looking with our Eyes! We play hide & seek where the person hiding had some jingle bells. We all had to listen very carefully with our Ears in order to find where they were hiding! Then we played "Eye" Spy! They had fun using their binoculars again to find what everybody spied!

It was a very fun day exploring the letter E with a couple of our amazing senses!
