Letter P day at PRESCHOOL!

Today was a great day at preschool, and it was Packed with the letter P!!

Most of all, we got to wear our Pajamas!!

We went back to our circle time. The kids did great sitting still and they even remembered our songs and routine!

Miss Hiedi introduced the letter P for the day, and we did some P actions.
We talked about what sound P makes and the kids liked it.

Pushing...

 We did a little pondering...

We did passing, and poking, and pretending, and tons more P actions!

Lexi and Robby loved the pillow fight with the stuffed animal friends!

Then we traced the letter P with our Paint bags.

We did the big P and the little P.

Then we all took a turn on the special lined paper writing our Ps.

Then we got to do some real homework!
We used Pencils and Pens and circled things that started with P.

The kids really liked this one. Some had trouble with switching off between pens--Xs and pencils--circles, but overall they recognized all the P words really well.

Then we went in for some parachute time!
We had a Parade with our animals and then threw them in the middle.
The Puppies went extra high!

Then it was time for playdough at the table.

We all made P's.

 And some pancakes!
Then went on a Penny Pirate treasure hunt for Pennies!!!

We even pretended to have a Patch over an eye!

The kids loved this!!

We dumped them out and practiced counting a little.

 Next up...snack time!!

Miss Hiedi had amazing P snacks...

Pretzels, Pickles, and Popcorn...!

They were in heaven!

Then last, we all got to do a self or family Portrait with watercolors.

They got creative and loved using paints!

 Levi's turned out awesome!

Just enough time to play!
It was a great day!!!!
