Today little miss Ruby was our special Spotlight Person.
We didn't have a spotlight sheet for her, but she had fun telling everyone about herself.
(Was there a spotlight sheet for her to begin with???)
(Sorry, totally spaced taking a new picture of her today!)
We had a review of the Very Hungry Caterpillar to help us lead into.....
....coloring cocoons for our caterpillars!
Miss Danell read us a fun book about a chameleon and all of his colors.
Then our puppet friend, Bob, helped us play a fun game with colors.
We had to stand up, spin around, then sit back down when he said a color that we were wearing!
Next it was time to use lots of colors to give our butterflies some colors of their own.
We enjoyed using Q-tips to put glue on our papers and then sticking different scraps of paper on to create some beautiful mosaic art!
(These two little friends were nearly inseparable most of the day! Cute girls. Though sometimes their chattering left them a little clueless as to what they were supposed to be doing! Haha. Sweet girls. I am glad they are such good friends. And at least they don't tackle each other like the boys do when they want each others attention...)
A colorful snack was welcomed by all!
And after a hot play time in the sun, colorful crayon shaped popsicles were quickly devoured....
Well, quickly for most.....
Cute Carmen slowly savored every last drip.....
