The Letter C!

Today started off with doing some fun big puzzles while we waited for everyone to arrive.

 

 

The kids all thought it was fun to have their back packs hanging on the hooks Mrs. Danell has on her wall!

 

And then, on to Circle time!

 

WHOOOO was here today?

Everyone!

(Although, some little owls were a bit upset that they didn't get to perch on the branch they wanted.)

 

We checked our Calendar to see what day it was.

 

Jerry was our special Spotlight Person today.

"Cheeeeeseburger!"



 

Lydia helped Mrs. Danell read everyone "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."

 

Then we all headed to the other room to make our own Caterpillars in the shape of the letter C!

 

 And, since our Caterpillar was so hungry, it was time to eat, eat, eat.....

Lots of snacks that begin with the letter C!

Cheese, Celery, Cucumber, Crackers, Craisins, and, of course everyone's favorite-- COOKIES!

 

We had to stop eating before we all got stomach aches. So, we moved on to Cutting and gluing lots of different foods that start with the letter C.

 And, finally, what everyone had been waiting for.... play time!

 

It was a fun day. Complete with a bit of Chaos here and there.

But, all in all, a good day.
