Today at pre-school we learned about the letter D. I realized my camera was on manual focus about half-way through pre-school today. Hence, all the blurry pictures.
They all played games until everyone arrived. We started the morning routine and Lexi was the spotlight. I didn't even think to take pictures during this time because, well...I am not sure why. After we were done the kids needed to get some wiggles out. Mrs. Jenny played a fun song where they can clap, stomp, and dance their wiggles away. The kids loved it!
Here is a really blurry one of them taking a little nap during the song.
Mrs. Jenny did a letter puppet show. Here we have "Big Daddy D" and "baby d". Daddy D was looking for baby d. While he was looking he found a,b,c, and baby d. When he found baby d we knew it was the right letter because Big Daddy D and baby d were looking at each other.
They made Drums! To make the drums they had to find a dot with a little d, a big D, and one with their name on it.
They attached the dots to their drums...
and added more baby dots to the drums to finish them off.
Now they are ready to play!
Next was Dominoes! They matched up the pictures on the boxes and sang a song.
Here they are all lined up.
and knocked them over!
Then they made bread Dough!! All the kids had an ingredients and they were able to add it to the bowl.
and a little of that...........
And you have some yummy Dough and happy hungry kids!
They mashed it into whatever shape they wanted and she baked it. They were able to eat their own bread for a snack. They also had apples and peanuts.
Eating their very own dough
Yummy!
Little Mrs. Adelyn found the flour while Mrs. Jenny was helping the kiddos make the dough. She had flour everywhere. We cleaned that up and moved on to the next thing. She is so cute!
They had a little free time. The girls played with the puppet show and had tea parties and the boys played cars, ninjas, and outside.
Little Miss ZeeZee was cute on the phone.
The very last game was this awesome Dice game. They rolled a huge Dice and whatever number it landed on they would find that number on the wall and stand by it. It was a fun day of pre-school!
